Olmsted, David Bonneau died Monday, November 21, 2016 of complications from liver failure. He was 43 years old. David, a native of Dallas, graduated from Highland Park High School and Dallas Baptist College. David was Vice President of Olmsted-Kirk Paper Company, a wholesale paper corporation that was founded by his great-grandfather, Harry A. Olmsted, in 1905. David followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and father and spent his career with O-K Paper. David loved the outdoors - hunting and fishing throughout his life with both his father and his sons at Coon Creek Club....

Olmsted, David Bonneau died Monday, November 21, 2016 of complications from liver failure. He was 43 years old. David, a native of Dallas, graduated from Highland Park High School and Dallas Baptist College. David was Vice President of Olmsted-Kirk Paper Company, a wholesale paper corporation that was founded by his great-grandfather, Harry A. Olmsted, in 1905. David followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and father and spent his career with O-K Paper. David loved the outdoors - hunting and fishing throughout his life with both his father and his sons at Coon Creek Club. Coon Creek was a place that was dear to David's heart. David is survived by his wife, Reese McClennahan Olmsted, his loving sons, Blake Bonneau Olmsted, Jackson Ryder Olmsted and Owen Merryman Olmsted, his mother, Gail Bonneau Olmsted Randall and husband, Dr. Warren York Randall, a sister, Gail Olmsted Engels and husband Steve, a brother Robert Merryman Olmsted III and wife Crickett. There will be a celebration of David's life at 2:00pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 at St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church, 8011 Douglas Avenue, Dallas. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, TX 75219.
