Marjorie Simmons Harman, of Dallas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 9, 2017, peacefully at Sonoma House Assisted Living and Memory Care. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.
She was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 20, 1930, to Harold and Anna Mae Simmons. She was known for always having a fun time and a sweet personality. Margie graduated from Woodrow Wilson class of 1947 and went on to SMU for a few years...

Marjorie Simmons Harman, of Dallas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 9, 2017, peacefully at Sonoma House Assisted Living and Memory Care. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.
She was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 20, 1930, to Harold and Anna Mae Simmons. She was known for always having a fun time and a sweet personality. Margie graduated from Woodrow Wilson class of 1947 and went on to SMU for a few years until she married the love of her life, Wayne, in 1949. She loved traveling, spending time with her family and friends, watching the Cowboys, playing bridge with her girlfriends and sharing her love of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include daughters Susan and husband Frank Turner; Beth and husband Bruce Moore; granddaughters, Ashley and husband Scott McAninley, Lindsey Moore; great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Addison McAninley, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Wayne, her husband of 64 years.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 13th, at 2:00 pm at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 12th, at the Funeral Home.
