She is also survived by her sister Mollie McDaniel of Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death in 1994 by her husband Henry G. Phillips.
She adored her family and nothing gave her more pleasure than spending time with them. She took great pride in attending her children's sporting events as well as her grandchildren and even her great grandchildren. She could be seen on the sidelines
cheering us on to victory.
One of her greatest passions was tennis. She played as long as her body would let her and then succombed to just watching it on TV. While she played tennis , she met some very loving friends, and those friendships have turned out to be everlasting.
She will be sorely missed by all.
A visitation will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home in the Northwest Highway Chapel from 12-2pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015 and the chapel service will follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to a charity of your choice.
