Robert Lloyd "Bob" Kerley of Dallas, Texas passed away on January 26, 2018. He was born August 4, 1956 in Ft. Worth to Jimmy Neill and Sue Freeman Kerley.
Bob grew up in Corsicana, was a Red Raider in Lubbock and graduated from TWU. Bob followed his dad's footsteps by obtaining his advanced nurse practitioner's Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist degree in Ft. Worth at Harris Hospital. Bob practiced as a CRNA for 27 years in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. He took joy in his work and gained lifelong friendships with his colleagues.

Bob grew up in Corsicana, was a Red Raider in Lubbock and graduated from TWU. Bob followed his dad's footsteps by obtaining his advanced nurse practitioner's Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist degree in Ft. Worth at Harris Hospital. Bob practiced as a CRNA for 27 years in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. He took joy in his work and gained lifelong friendships with his colleagues.
An avid golfer, scuba diver, traveler, photographer, bicyclist, poker player, gourmet diner, nature enthusiast and adamant lover of Labradors, Bob loved adventure and was always open to trying new things. For nine years after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma, Bob's courage, faith and positive attitude were an inspiration to all who know him. He was grateful for each day and for the wonderful care he received from his many doctors and nurses.
Bob is survived by his wife Lynda Stroud-Kerley, his sisters and their husbands, Neilla and "Greg Longino and Beth and Doug Chaney, his brother-in-law and wife, Billy and Susie Stroud, and sister -in-law and husband, Nancy and Mark Rubarzck. He is Uncle Bob to ten nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. In the hearts of those who know him he is a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend.
A gathering of those Bob loved and those who loved him will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W Northwest Highway in Dallas.
