Robert Samuel Cohen, a loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2017. He was born on May 7, 1927, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Louis B. and Rose (Kaplan) Cohen.

He had a distinguished career with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES).

Mr. Cohen is survived by his children, Gary Cohen, and Gail (husband Avi) Laker; grandchildren, Adam (wife, Danielle) Laker, and Rachel (husband, David) Alexander; great grandchildren, Maya, Sammy, and Avery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Ethel.

Mr. Cohen was known for his vibrant zest for life. Bob always had a smile on his face and was friendly to everyone he met. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed playing cards, investing, and traveling with his wife and family.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Traditions Prestonwood Memory Care team for their loving care and support.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Chapel East at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas 75225. A private entombment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the charity of your choice.
