Susan Willis Bryans of Dallas, Texas went to be with Jesus Christ on March 28, 2015, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Susan was born on September 21, 1963 in Odessa, Texas. Susan attended the University of Texas where she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood development, which led her to many years of educating and caring for children through teaching, church, and her own family. She had a passion for gardening, running, cooking, reading, and most importantly her savior, Jesus Christ. She influenced many by her faith and the way she encouraged...

Susan Willis Bryans of Dallas, Texas went to be with Jesus Christ on March 28, 2015, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Susan was born on September 21, 1963 in Odessa, Texas. Susan attended the University of Texas where she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood development, which led her to many years of educating and caring for children through teaching, church, and her own family. She had a passion for gardening, running, cooking, reading, and most importantly her savior, Jesus Christ. She influenced many by her faith and the way she encouraged and cared for others as a daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was an active member at Watermark Community Church of Dallas, and she aimed to make Christ known to all she encountered. She was preceded in death by her father Palmer Willis, her sister Catherine Hybert, and her mother-in-law, Jo Bryans. She is survived by one son, Jacob Bryans; four daughters, Jo Anna Bryans, Emily Gray, Lindsay Gray, and Lauren Bufkin; one son in law, Thomas Bufkin; one sister in law, Julie Brown; her father-in-law, Leonard Bryans; her mother, Ann Willis; her husband, Mark Bryans; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Susan's life will be held on Good Friday, April 3, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Watermark Community Church, Dallas Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Watermark Community Church, Dallas TX.
